During my recent stay at the Auberge, I experienced a blend of luxury and value that made for a nice family adventure. The location offered stunning hiking trails right outside our door, perfect for outdoor-loving Kiwis. Our room was functional and well-equipped, featuring a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle that came in handy for morning coffees on the sun terrace. Housekeeping was efficient, ensuring that we returned to a tidy space after a long day of outdoor fun. The hotel’s bar and lounge area provided a nice spot to unwind with drinks after a day on the slopes. While some amenities, like the full-body massage and sauna, leaned towards luxury, I felt the overall experience justified the investment. Free parking and wi-fi eased concerns about additional costs. For families seeking both comfort and adventure without breaking the bank, the Auberge is worth considering on your next trip.
